Privacy policy

There are no accounts on Coinifo, so we hold no name, email address or password for you.

What stays on your device

Your watchlist and your light or dark theme are saved in your browser's local storage. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser's site data deletes them.

What our server sees

Like any website, the server receives your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser type, and keeps them in short-lived logs to run the service and stop abuse. When you click a partner link we record which partner and which page the click came from, without anything that identifies you.

Other services your browser contacts

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and coin logos from CoinGecko's image servers, so those services receive your IP address when your browser fetches them. We do not run any analytics.

If you follow a partner link, that company may set a cookie to record that you came from us; its own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, or have it deleted, at [email protected], and you can complain to your data protection authority.
